However, one fan has used photo mode to show what the game would look like with fixed camera angles. More recent games in the series have moved away from fixed camera angles to over-the-shoulder perspectives, which is true for the recently released Resident Evil 3 remake. The original Resident Evil games were known for their use of fixed camera angles, which were used to great effect by the franchise's development team to create an eerie atmosphere and strategically placed jump scares.
